Training & Mediation

The Society aims wherever it can to ensure that clients receive consistently good service from solicitors, and does this in a number of ways:

• by running frequent training courses for solicitors in specialist areas of law in order to keep them up to date;



• by providing information to the national Law Society where a solicitor has been the subject of disciplinary proceedings;



• by providing information if a client is dissatisfied with the service or conduct of his or her solicitor - see specifically the page on complaints handling;



• by operating a mediation service for solicitors and their clients as an alternative to Court proceedings. Further details of the mediation service can be obtained by contacting the Administrator through the Contact page or by using the email link in the box on the left.
